Other Information: Wheelchair Accessible. Latrobe Art Center is a community art center with eighty-eight, mostly local, artists as gallery participants. With six scheduled shows a year and “special” shows thrown in for variety, there is never a boring time at LAC. All art is original to the artist and for sale all the time. Classes are scheduled three times a year with a wide variety of subjects and range from beginner to expert, for children as young as six and never too old to learn. Workshops are scheduled with local and nationally known artists in all media. Free programs are available for groups and include a gallery tour and scavenger hunt. When time is not an issue, a project may be included. Since 2002, LAC has been the place of choice classes, workshops and beautiful original art for home, office, and life.
